Winter Wine Dinners Around Australia

We know it’s not always possible to come to our cellar door, so continuing our focus on offering memorable wine and food experiences around Australia at some of our superb partner restaurants, we are delighted to announce the latest experiences for you to enjoy around Australia across June and July with a preview of August and September (with more events to come). As many of you know, our wine dinners are a great mix of sensational food at some of Australia’s best restaurants, with a generous matching of our wines. We hope that you can join us!

JUNE

Tuesday 11 June 2019: Wine Tasting at Barrel Bar & Dining, Cremorne

On Tuesday 11 June we are conducting a wine tasting at Barrel Bar & Dining in Cremorne (50m from the Orpheum Cinema).

For those not in the know, Barrel Bar was established by sommeliers, Alex Searle (Momofuku Seibu) and Tony Billing (Gordon Ramsay & The Savoy, London) to create a sensational wine bar on Sydneys lower North shore. Recently joined by Jeremy Pace (ex head chef of Guillaume at Bennelong) producing some culinary magic in the kitchen. For us it is a perfect space to show our wines with two serious wine lovers and educators, with great food in a fun atmosphere.

Unlike normal wine dinners, this is a tasting night so feel free to order from their A La Carte menu and stick around afterwards for a bottle of wine.

Friday 21 June: Four course Wine Dinner with the Australian Youth Orchestra at Sofitel Wentworth, Sydney

Sofitel Wentworth Australian Youth OrchestraAs part of this years City of Sydney Fête de la Musique, we are hosting a wine dinner at the newly refurbished Sofitel Sydney Wentworth with a 4-course French culinary delight with matching wines.

The evening will be accompanied by music from the Australian Youth Orchestra and a saxophonist throughout the night.

When: Friday, 21 June from 7.00pm

Friday 21 June: Four course Wine Dinner at Pullman Sea Temple Resort and Spa, Palm Cove

Pullman Sea Temple Resort and Spa, Palm CoveOn Friday 21 June, we are hosting a five course wine dinner at the Pullman Sea Temple, Palm Cove.  Please join us at their wonderful Temple of Tastes Restaurant,and experience the delicious degustation menu designed by Executive Chef, Anthony Smith, showcasing a selection of matching wines from our range of hand-crafted, French-style wines.

Friday 28 & 29 June: Four or six course Wine Dinner at Fairmont Resort, Blue Mountains

Sunday 14 July: Bastille Day Long Lunch at Boilerhouse Restaurant, Q Station Manly

Boiler House Restaurant, Q Station ManlyOooh la la – the Boilerhouse Restaurant is going French for Bastille Day with a long lunch to celebrate the red, white and blue!

Following our sold-out long lunch earlier this year, James Green has put together another French-inspired five course degustation lunch with matching wines. Boilerhouse was recently awarded a hat, and it is a testament to their chef, James and his team to their professionalism and incredible skill in the kitchen.

When: Sunday, 14 July from 12.30pm

There is a fabulous ferry that you can catch from Circular Quay, Taronga Zoo, Watsons Bay and Manly  –  My Fast Ferry or catch a ferry to Manly and then Uber/Taxi up to Q Station.

Pepe's by the beach, WollongongWe are hosting a sumptuous 4-course lunch overlooking Wollongong’s North Beach, with eight matching wines followed by afternoon drinks in one of the many cabanas at Pepe’s on the Beach.

Bibo Wine Bar, Double BayOn Wednesday 31 July, we are hosting a wine dinner at Bibo Wine Bar in Double Bay. With ex-Bennelong (under Guillaume Brahimi) Head chef Jose Silva in the kitchen, Restaurant Manager Jonathan Mallet (formerly of Guillaume in Paddington) and Head Sommelier, Louella Mathews (ex Rockpool Bar & Grill) there was always going to be something special about this wine bar.
