As Spring takes hold, take this special opportunity to join Richard & Amanda de Beaurepaire for an informative and enjoyable couple of hours getting under the skin of our award-winning French-style wines. Meet the vignerons, explore the vineyard, and experience the wines at the home of 2018 Australian Wine of the Year.


Vigneron Experience at De Beaurepaire Wines

Have you ever wondered what ‘terroir’ means and how it influences grapes varieties and wine styles; how De Beaurepaire Wines’ ‘terroir’ replicates that of Burgundy and Champagne; what this looks like in our vineyard; and how this expresses itself in our award-winning French-style wines? Then our ‘Vigneron Experience’ is for you!





The ‘Vigneron Experience’ includes two special experiences rolled into one:

Vigneron Vineyard Experience: A guided vineyard walk

Have you ever wanted to walk through our glorious 100,000 vines? It is tempting isn’t it! For biosecurity and safety reasons, exploring our vineyard is an experience not normally available 😊. In this very special opportunity, Richard & Amanda will take you on a guided vineyard walk to explore our terroir, discover our vineyard in Spring, and experience vineyard life.

Vigneron Wine Experience: A wine masterclass

The French believe that 90% of French wine is determined by what happens in the vineyard. Having learnt where our wine starts, Richard & Amanda will take you on a journey through our range to explore how our terroir expresses itself in our award-winning wines. Your experience will include wines not normally available for tasting, including Reserves and méthode traditionnelle sparkling wines.

‘Vigneron Experience’ participants will meet members of the de Beaurepaire family and hear how passionate we are about the grapes we grow and wines we craft.  And for the curious, there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

After your experience, why not relax on our cellar door lawns with a glass of your favourite wine from our range, one of our delicious grazing boards, and soak up the stunning vineyard views. The perfect end to a weekend away!

October 5 &6: Flights & Bites

Spring FLIGHTS AND BITES event at De Beaurepaire Wines













Lawn Flights: enjoy a carefully selected flight of 5 wines to introduce you to our range whilst you take in the vineyard views

Lawn Bites: feast on gourmet, smoked and grilled delights for young and old lovingly made by Dave Darker and his team from The Rolling Stove food truck. Think Smoked Ribs, Gourmet Burgers, Fish and Chips…the perfect accompaniment to sensational wine and views!!

Lawn Bar: savour your favourite wines from our range as you catch up with family and friends

For those looking to explore our range with a guided tasting experience that explores our unique terroir and what makes our wine sought after by Australia’s top restaurants, luxury hotels and iconic bars, why not try our Vignernon Tasting Experience? These can be booked on arrival at the cellar door.


When: Flights & Bites available Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th October, 11am to 4pm. Returning to normal cellar door Monday 7th October.

Ben Noir

As part of our 21st anniversary celebrations, we are collaborating with Ben Noir, an acclaimed Australian cabaret performer, to present, Le Cabaret des Artistes – an indulgent evening of fine French cabaret, wine and cuisine.

Le Cabaret des Artistes will be held in the sprawling, 170-year-old stables at De Beaurepaire Wines, Rylstone on 5 October 2019 and tickets are on sale now.

Ben Palumbo caught an early break as a Featured Acrobat in Baz Luhmann’s Moulin Rouge. In his off-screen life, he subsequently moved to Paris, working his way from street performance to some of the most (in)famous cabaret and burlesque stages in the world. Recently returned from a world tour, including a performance at the Australian Embassy in Paris by invitation from the Australian Ambassador, an upcoming performance at the French festival in Brisbane, and previous appearance in Baz Luhmann’s ‘Moulin Rouge’, Ben Noir’s fabulous French cabaret is a truly memorable experience. Between his stunning flute like vocals, and his ability to sing Non Je Ne Regrette Rien while maintaining a perfect handstand, this is a cabaret like no other! Ben Palumbo, joined by Paolo Campanari Brancondi on Piano Accordion, Ann Palumbo on guitar, and Paul Laszlo on double bass, form a talented quartet that have a unique comic rapport onstage, and their theatre skills complement each other greatly creating a fabulously flamboyant show.
