Come and experience a taste of France at the home of 2018 Australian Wine of the Year!

1. PRIVATE GUIDED WINE EXPERIENCES

EXPLORE: Private Guided Wine Exploration

Our signature experience – The perfect way to explore our range of French-style wines! Nourish your wine loving soul with a private guided exploration of up to eight of our Heritage, Sparkling & Sweet wines with Richard or Amanda de Beaurepaire

Maybe it is your first-time trying French-style wines, or perhaps you’d like to relive your trip to France; either way, this experience will nourish your wine loving soul. The French believe that 90% of quality wine directly reflects the vineyard in which the grapes are grown, and for us our wines are a direct expression of our Burgundian growing conditions. The French have embraced our wines – the ultimate compliment – and we hope you thoroughly enjoy the experience too!

  • $15 per person
  • Allow 30-40 minutes to enjoy this experience

The 8 wines we will share and discuss include: ‘Blanchefleur’ Blanc de Blancs, ‘Billet Doux’ Semillon-Sauvignon Blanc, ‘La Comtesse’ Chardonnay, ‘Perceval’ Pinot Noir, ‘Le Bourbon’ Rose, ‘Le Chevalier’ Merlot-Cabernet-Petit Verdot, ‘Henri’ Cabernet-Merlot-Petit Verdot, and ‘Bluebird’ Botrytis Semillon

2. SPECIALISED WINE MASTERCLASSES

Over the October Long Weekend, we are running a series of 3 specialised masterclasses to delve into topics we are frequently asked about 🙂 So whether you’re especially interested in Reserve, Methode Traditionelle or Vegan-friendly wines, we have a masterclass for you. Masterclasses will be run by Will de Beaurepaire. Please read on for more details and to book

a) Masterclass: What Makes a Reserve Wine?

We only make Reserve wines in certain years. For us, ‘Reserve’ is not a marketing term; it denotes wines made in exceptional vineyard conditions and with accentuated focus in the winery. They will typically have extended cellaring life and a degree of “magic”.

Join us for a masterclass that will showcase 4 of our Reserve wines and their Heritage Series equivalents, exploring what makes them special and how they differ.

  • $50 per person
  • Allow up to 45 minutes to enjoy this experience

The 7 wines we will share and discuss include:

  • Burgundy-style Chardonnays: 2017 ‘Jeannette’ Reserve Chardonnay and 2017 ‘La Comtesse’ Chardonnay

Australia produces a great diversity of sparkling wine styles and quality.  Our terroir is amazingly similar to that of the Champagne region,  and we use the full Méthode Traditionelle in the winery.

3. SIP & SWIRL SESSIONS ON LAWNS

Our cellar door lawns have 270 degree open views overlooking our 100,000+ vines and offer ample space for you to simply relax and enjoy our wines with a bite to eat.

Over the October Long Weekend, we will be offering Sip & Swirl sessions on our lawns so that you can make the most of our beautiful French-style wines, food and views. On offer will be Curious wine experiences; ‘Build Your Own’ Vigneron Picnics, and wine by the glass for you to enjoy.

We are not taking bookings for Sip and Swirl sessions…you can simply turn up and enjoy yourselves on our cellar door lawns! Please note that seating is not allocated. We have a number of tables for you to choose from on arrival, or please feel free to bring a picnic blanket.

Lawn Bar

Our Lawn bar will be in full swing with a wide range of our wines by the glass (or bottle) available to purchase to enjoy on our lawns.

We will also be offering ‘Build your own’ Vigneron picnics. IMPORTANT TO KNOW

We make French-style wines! French-style wines are lighter, more elegant, structured, fruit driven wines that are made to complement food; they are typically drier.  If you are looking for more traditional Australian-styles of wine such as big hearty reds, oaky whites, or sweeter styles of wine, there are many boutique producers in our region for wines of that style.

We are operating under strict COVID-Safe regulations, and we ask for your patience and understanding.

Current regulations restrict group sizes to a maximum of 10 people (including children) – as such we cannot accept groups of more than 10 people.

The maximum number of people that we can fit into an Explore experience is 6 people. If you have more than 6 people, please either book an additional Explore experience, or split your group up across the other experiences we have on offer.

Our wine experiences are designed for wine-loving adults 😊. Our lawns offer ample space for children to play while you’re inside enjoying an Explore experience or Master Class. If you would prefer to stay with your children, our Sip & Swirl sessions outside are the perfect option!

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome outside. Dogs must always be on leads & aren’t allowed inside. There is a dog waiting zone with water bowls for your four-legged family members to wait while you are inside.

BYO food & alcohol are not permitted. Both wine & food are available to purchase from our Lawn Bar.
