Our ever-popular Long Lunch in the Vines is back!

Please note that this is a ticket to the Long Lunch only. A separate bus ticket needs to be purchased if required.

Please join us for a fabulously fun long lunch revelling in GREAT WINE, FOOD & LIVE MUSIC. And yes, dancing on the cellar door lawns, all while you soak up our beautiful vineyard surrounds & views.

This Long Lunch in the Vines is a more intimate event than previous years - to ensure the highest quality experience. Tickets are strictly limited and are on a first come, first served basis. Wine Club members will get pre-release access to the tickets for a week. If you would like to come or would like to purchase tickets as a Christmas Gift, please do get in early to avoid disappointment.

We are offering a return bus from Mudgee & Rylstone. Seats must be purchased in advance, and once it's full, it's full :-). See details below.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This is a wine event, so all attendees must be over the age of 18.

As this is a vineyard event, we have a delicious wine degustation meal planned with limited ability to cater for dietary requirements. Pre-advised coeliac, vegetarian + nut/seafood allergy options may be available only.

Long Lunch in the Vines will be an all-weather event. If Mother Nature throws a tantrum, this event will be moved indoors.

As a significant amount of planning goes into this event, including bringing in catering kitchens, catering, performers, additional staffing, marquees, seating and so forth, please be aware that refunds will only be available until February 13th. After that we are unable to provide refunds unless we are able to sell your tickets on. If you would like to transfer your tickets to someone else, please let us know so that we can update seating plans and so forth.

We reserve the right to cancel Long Lunch in the Vines in the event of health, weather or other advice that prevent this event being conducted safely.

TRANSPORT

We encourage everyone to travel by bus so you can truly enjoy the day. We will have very limited parking, so cars don't block the view. If travelling by car, please let us know, and ensure there is a designated driver.

Please take note of the bus route and the pick up/drop off points, as it will affect where you can stay. There is no flexibility in the bus route as it is running to a tight timetable!

Please also be at the bus pick up points at least 5 minutes before the declared time, as it will not wait as that risks everyone being late to the lunch and missing out on wine and food.

The bus will travel from Mudgee to Rylstone, via the Lue Rd.

All bus collection/drop off points are located on the main road. The bus does not pick up from specific accommodation.

ACCOMODATION

We encourage you to book accommodation in Rylstone. Apart from being our beautiful hometown, your transit time to and from our Long Lunch will be considerably shorter than if you stay in Mudgee! Plus, our local pub, the Globe Hotel, will be pumping on Saturday night for those who would like to continue on after lunch. They normally put on some live music to coincide with our lunch.

Please book accommodation early, as it books up fast out here. Below are some suggestions, matched with the bus stops.

RYLSTONE 

A. Rylstone town: the Bus pick up/drop off point in Rylstone will be in front of the Globe Hotel, so any of the lovely BNBs located in central Rylstone, or stay at the Globe Hotel, would be perfect. Please refer to AirBnb or Stayz for options in Rylstone.

BETWEEN MUDGEE AND RYLSTONE (VIA LUE RD) 

C. Mudgee: For those staying in Mudgee, the pickup/drop off point is the bus stop at St Johns Church on Market St

D. Lue Rd (cnr Hayes Gap Rd): Old Bara Guesthouse,

E. Lue Rd (Lue Public School carpark): Odd Frog Lodges, Wandarra Homestead

F. Lue Rd (cnr Pyangle Rd): Camphill

G. Bylong Valley Way (cnr Coxs Creek Rd): Rylstone Aerodrome
